The abduction, detention and assassination of political activists and human rights defenders by the Eswatini regime calls upon precautionary measres. Thus profiles not elaborated and pseudo names have been adopted for some of the committee to protect them from retribution.

Bonginkhosi Ignatius “IB” Dhlamini
Executive Director
A veteran human rights defender and retired Executive Administrator with experience as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Public Protector. A former underground operative for the ANC and a founding member of PUDEMO (1983), “IB” returned to the frontlines following the 2021 unrest to lead the transition to democracy through international law.

Zweli “General” Nyada
Head of International Relations & IT
An entrepreneur and activist providing critical IT and logistical support for incarcerated activists.
He is currently detained on contested subversion charges related to his work supporting activists abducted from South Africa.

Sabelo “Nkosi” Dlamini
A retired technocrat and researcher (formerly of Wits School of Public Health – Health Promotion) with extensive experience in land restitution administratipn and industrial – process investigation. A political asylum seeker since 1999, he leads the restorative justice efforts for the Pension Invesyment Recovery campaign. Assist with compilation of donor funding proposals, research and acquiring of ethics clearance certificates for UED studies.
