Executive Summary

The Southern Africa Pension Investment Recovery Forum (SAPIRF) is seeking R1,729,200 to fund two critical pillars of justice:
Litigation Fund (R100,000): To support the High Court case of SM Dlamini vs. Alexander Forbes regarding deferred pension recovery.
Operational Fund (R1,629,200): To establish the SAPIRF Central Recovery Hub at the United Eswatini Diaspora (UED) building.
This hub will serve as the engine for identifying, vetting, and legally escalating thousands of unclaimed pension benefits currently withheld by South African administrators.

Central Pension Recovery Hub Management

The Hub is powered by a specialized team designed to handle the end-to-end recovery process:
Investigative Journalist:
Spearheads storytelling and podcast dissemination to reach isolated victims and expose systemic “scams.”
Principal Investigator:
Conducts cross-border research, stakeholder liaison, and rigorous focus-group vetting of claimants.
Database Administrator:
Maintains a secure, high-integrity database of vetted claimants to ensure seamless coordination with funds.
Chief Liaising Officer (CLO):
Manages high-level advocacy and legal escalations to the Pension Funds Adjudicator (PFA) and legal teams.

Infrastructure & Sustainability

To bridge the gap between rural claimants and urban administrators, the Hub includes a Professional Podcast Studio and high-performance IT infrastructure.
This allows for remote focus groups and digital advocacy. A monthly utility allocation of R10,000 ensures consistent operations and power backup (UPS) to mitigate load-shedding during live broadcasts.
